I had found some online photos of 'an old red truck' to illustrate my new CD, "Sweet Ride," but felt stuck at that point with what to do next. Leslie took the project to a completely different level and tied the theme together using both color and photographic elements that made this simple design *pop*, while keeping its laid-back flavor. As with John MacLean's project, Leslie and I worked long-distance, with just one phone conversation to go over initial details: the rest was done completely (and effortlessly!) via email. As thrilled as I already was with Leslie's creativity in bringing my concept to life, she further proved to be an invaluable asset as my own personal Design Project Manager, interacting with my replication vendor to ensure that the artwork exactly matched the proofs...I trusted her judgment and direction every step of the way.
